A candidate seeking admission to M. Com. course must have:
1. Passed B.Com. (Hons.) degree from University of Delhi or any other University recognized equivalent there to, with at least 50% marks, or
2. Passed B.Com. (Pass) or B.Com. degree from University of Delhi or any other university recognized equivalent there to, with at least 55% marks, or
3. Passed B.A. (Hons.) economics degree from University of Delhi or any other university recognized equivalent there to, with at least 50% marks, or
4. Passed B.B.S., B.B.A., B.F.I.A. and B.B.E. degree from University of Delhi any other university recognized equivalent thereto, with at least 60% marks.
Note
1. The eligibility conditions for admission to M. Com. course are same for the regular and the correspondence (SOL) students.
2. Candidates appearing for the final year degree examination may also apply provided they are able to produce their mark sheets before 15th October, 2009.
M.H.R.O.D
INDIAN STUDENTS
1. Passed Bachelor's Degree examination of the University of Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto in any discipline, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent thereto in the grading system.
2. Candidates appearing for the final year degree examination may also apply provided they are able to produce their mark sheets before 15th October 2009
3. Candidates should be minimum 20 years of age as on 1st October in the year of admission, However, the Vice-Chancellor may relax the age limit upto 6 months as and when he deems desirable.
FOREIGN STUDENTS
1. Foreign students studying in Indian Universities are required to appear in the Common Entrance Test.
2. Foreign students, who have already qualified from Indian universities, are required to submit their latest GMAT scores failing which their applications will not be considered.
3. Those foreign students do not belong to either of the above categories, i.e.
(i) and (ii), are advised to submit their latest GMAT or TOEFL scores. In addition, they must obtain clearance from the Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for pursuing the above programmes at the Department of Commerce, University of Delhi.
Masters in International Business (MIB)
INDIAN STUDENTS
1. Passed Bachelor's Degree examination of the University of Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto in any discipline, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent thereto in the grading system.
2. Candidates appearing for the final year degree examination may also apply provided they are able to produce their mark sheets before 15th October 2009

The minimum qualification for admission to the M.Phil programme will be at least 55% marks in the aggregate in M.Com./ MIB/ MHROD/ MFC/ MBA and other such degrees which are equivalent to the MBA degree of the University of Delhi and other Indian Universities of Delhi and other Indian Universities. However, the candidates with degrees other than M.Com./ MIB/ MHROD/ MFC/ MBA would be required to furnish an equivalence certificate from the Association of India Universities/ Delhi University or any other competent authority. The onus of producing the relevant equivalence certificate lies on the candidate.

Synopsis submission & Personal Interview, The minimum qualification for admission to the M.Phil Programme will be at least 55% marks in the aggregate in M.Com./ MIB/ MHROD/ MFC/ MBA and other such degrees which are equivalent to the MBA degree of the University of Delhi and other Indian Universities of Delhi and other Indian Universities.
However, the candidates with degrees other than M.Com./ MIB/ MHROD/ MFC/ MBA would be required to furnish an equivalence certificate from the Association of India Universities/ Delhi University or any other competent authority.
The onus of producing the relevant equivalence certificate lies on the candidate. or b) Have a good academic record with first or high second class Master's degree of an Indian or a Foreign University in the subject concerned or an allied subject.
Note:
Second Class would mean at least 50% marks in the subject or equivalent grading. The teachers of the University of Delhi and its colleges, the teachers of the other Universities or College/ Institutions affiliated to those Universities as also teachers of foreign Universities, having a minimum of 50% marks in the Master’s Degree, and having a minimum of three years by holding permanent positions may be registered for Ph.D. directly on the recommendations of the Department/ Departmental Research Committee.
